Dagmar Vaikalafi Dyck (born 1972) is a New Zealand artist of Tongan and German descent.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://findnzartists.org.nz/artist/4456/ )〕 Dyck's prints and paintings are often inspired by her cultural heritage and explore textile practices of Tonga.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.tautai.org/artist/dagmar-dyck/ )〕 Dyck completed a Bachelor for Fine Arts through Elam School of Fine Arts in 1994 and a Post-Graduate Diploma of Fine Arts in 1995. She was the first women of Tongan descent to do so.
